The Asset Analysis track is comprised of skill-based courses that, when taken in sequence, progressively build your knowledge of financing and valuation of real estate assets. You’ll work hands-on to explore various models of financial analysis in three applications-based courses designed to help you capitalize on your real estate assets. Students will find the tools they learn here indispensable to the properties and the portfolios they manage.

Glenn Pelot, CPM


GLENN M. PELOT, CPM®, is President of Pelot Real Estate Services, LLC, located in Detroit, Michigan, specializing in real estate management and consulting. A native of Detroit, He started his real estate career in 1972 in downtown Detroit high-rise apartments and for years concentrated on multifamily housing. Since 1982, his experience has led him to specialize in commercial, retail, and industrial management. He spent 30 years with two different management/construction firms that provided him with unique insights into both these specialties.

 

Upon entering the property management field, he became involved in his local IREM® chapter. He achieved the CPM designation in 1977. He has served his chapter in various capacities, including president in 1982. He was honored as their Manager of the Year in 1983 and again in 2013. He also has served at the National level with IREM both on the Ethics and Discipline Committee (1998 - 2010) and continues on various educational committees and as a MPSA Grader (1999 – present). He began teaching property management courses in 1983 as an instructor for the Detroit College of Business. As an IREM instructor, he first taught the IREM ARM Course (Successful Site Management) from 1985 to 2001. In that time he guided over 1,200 students through that program in southeast Michigan alone. He began teaching the CPM credential courses in 1998. He has taught internationally since 2003 teaching in Poland, Bulgaria, Russia, Kazakhstan and South Korea, the latter on five separate occasions.

Logistics:

Typical Class Size: 10-15

Airport: Denver International Airport - 30 minutes from course/hotel location.

Transportation: Denver is not a great Taxi city. Uber or Lyft is much more economical.

Lodging: Homewood Suites, Courtyard Denver South/Park Meadows. Both hotels have shuttle service within 5 miles of the hotel and free parking.

Course Parking: Free

Food/Beverage: The Chapter provides water/coffee/soda and snacks onsite. Attendees responsible for their own breakfast and lunch.

There are many restaurants within just a few miles. Park Meadows Mall is just two miles away.
