VOLUNTEERS MUST BE OVER 12 YEARS OLD.
Several times per week, groups volunteer to provide breakfast or dinner for the families staying at Brent's Place. This service can be a relief for families trying to manage the complex environment surrounding their children fighting life-threatening illnesses.
On October 15th IREM Greater Denver will be hosting dinner by providing a
SOUP BAR!
Volunteers can either prepare their soup at home or bring the ingredients and prepare the soup onsite. The soups must be ready to go at 4:15 PM, so that families can begin eating at 5PM. When all the families have eaten, we will need to clean up.
For those bringing soup:
You will want to bring any special garnishments for your soup.
For those bringing salad:
You will want to bring any special dressings, croutons, or garnishes. Kids in treatment may not be able to eat fresh fruits and vegetables, but parents and siblings can.
The Brent's Place Kitchens are fully stocked. If you don't have a crock pot or chaffing dishes, they have those available, as well as ovens for reheating.
Please register for the level of volunteer engagement that works for you!
