Committees
Chapter volunteers are the heart and soul of our association, and committees make things happen! Please help us create the types of events and services you want and need.
Academic Engagement Committee: is committed to raising awareness about the property management profession among students and expanding professional development for IREM Denver members. This committee introduces university and high school students to property management through career day events, networking opportunities, and key IREM Denver activities. For current members, the committee also offers supplemental educational programs designed to support employee growth in both soft and hard skills, providing valuable learning opportunities outside of IREM’s certification training. If you’re eager to inspire the next generation and support continued education within our industry, this group is for you.
Community Service Committee: brings members together through meaningful volunteer opportunities, organizing three community service events each year. One of the committee’s highlights is the annual garden refresh at Brent's Place, where members come together to help create a nurturing outdoor space for families in need. If you’re passionate about giving back and building connections within our community, consider joining the Community Service Committee!
Future Leaders Committee: is dedicated to guiding and supporting the next generation of property management professionals through IREM Denver’s Future Leaders Program. This year-long program provides emerging leaders with tailored educational experiences, access to mentoring by seasoned industry professionals, and a strong peer network. Committee members play a key role in ensuring the success of the program, fostering growth and development for each Future Leader.
Golf Committee: is dedicated to planning IREM Denver’s annual golf tournament, one of our most anticipated events of the year! From organizing event details to coordinating with sponsors and participants, this committee ensures a fantastic experience for all. If you’re interested in event planning, networking, and bringing members together for a great cause, consider joining the Golf Committee.
Membership Committee: The Membership Committee is dedicated to welcoming new members and fostering a sense of belonging within the IREM Denver community. By creating meaningful connections and promoting an inclusive environment, this committee helps ensure every member feels valued, supported, and engaged from the start.
Programs Committee: brings members together through engaging events that focus on networking, education, and industry insights. This team plans four programs and luncheons each year featuring guest speakers on relevant industry topics, as well as the highly anticipated IREM Denver Industry Awards & Year End event. If you’re passionate about creating memorable experiences and connecting members through meaningful events, consider volunteering with the Programs Committee!
Social Committee: is all about bringing IREM Denver members together through fun and engaging networking events. From casual happy hours and coffee meetups to the annual Spring Social & Property Tour, this committee creates opportunities for members to connect and build lasting relationships. This group is for you if you enjoy planning social events and fostering connections within our community.
The Outlook: focuses on delivering IREM Denver’s signature annual market update event. More than an economic forecast, The Outlook examines the key forces shaping the commercial real estate market each year, featuring a high-impact keynote and expert panel discussion. This committee brings timely, relevant insights to our membership to help them stay informed on what’s driving the market now and what’s ahead. This group is for you if you enjoy shaping thought leadership and keeping our community ahead of the curve.
We need people like you to help make our community stronger. If you're interested in getting involved, please email us and let us know which committee(s) you would like to serve.
